They say don't look a gifted horse in the mouth, but in our case, we are going to open the mouth of a free stallion for you and let you see that this is indeed legit and sincere!

Surprisingly, the biggest obstacle my brother and I have found out, in getting artists into the magazine is skepticism! I have spent countless emails and messages going back and forth with a few artist that argue with me about this being a scam! I understand that unfortunately now adays, if you hear the word Free, that often puts up a red flag, so I want you to get it from the horse's mouth and alleviate your fears about this not being a legitimate offer:

1. We never ask for your money nor will we. We are trying to help artists promote themselves and their work. I am an artist myself and know what it is to be a "starving artist". Eventually, we may charge a small artist fee but for now while we are increasing our subscriber base we are waiving any fee and charging nothing.
2. We make no money off of your work. We promote your work but do not sell it. We work in low resolution images so can not even make prints of your work. We make money through ads and donations and do not profit at all from your work except in promoting you, you promote us.
3. Your work is yours and secure. Your work is copyrighted and your images you sent in are copyrighted. You are simply giving us permission to use them. This is why we have you send them in and do not copy them from your sites. Also, the magazine is copyrighted so people are not allowed to copy images from it.
4. We do not upsell. This is how a lot of people scam you. We do not offer you something for free and then try to get you to purchase something later. We will never sell you anything. We even offer our advertisers to build their ads for free!
5. Though we are a new publication we have already published dozens of artists, We have sent you to preview our old issues to look at other artists. You can go to their emails and write any of them and ask them if they have been ripped off. On the contrary, we have glowing reviews and much thanksgiving and appreciation from those who have been in the magazine.

So, I have learned that unfortunately, some people you cannot convince by any means. But most people are reasonable, and I hate for them to miss out in what the business world calls "Low risk, High reward" opportunity! You have nothing to loose and and any promotion is good promotion. You being in the magazine helps us as much as you.
